At August Day Bee

We had a great group at Day Bee this morning at Jean’s. Last month we received the last set of instructions for the mystery quilt and some members are working on theirs.  We want to all show them in October.  Jean is well on her way as she has her top together.  Here is a sneak peak.
It will be fun to see the variations.

Clara finished a comfort quilt project started by Kathy.  It was “quilt as you go” which means the squares were quilted individually and then the sashing was used to join the blocks together.

Here is the back.

Mary has been very busy and had several small quilts to show.

Elizabeth made a Gamecock sundress for her granddaughter.

Here is the website with the free pattern and tutorial.

Some bring handwork and others just enjoy the conversation. Deb is knitting dishcloths.
Clara is working on little hexagons.

If you have not been a part of Day Bee, we hope you will give our group a try.

Glad you enjoy the pictures. I know you have your own blog but any time you have something you think the guild would enjoy, I would love for you to share on this blog. Let me know if you try and have a problem.
