Quilters Gallery Show and Tell

For the March general meeting the Quilters Gallery, AKA "The Pizza Girls", presented "Rulermania," which was a trunk show of new quilts as well as tips for using specialty rulers that are on the market.   Many of us were inspired to add a new ruler or pattern to our collection as well as some beautiful fabric.
Following are photos of a wide variety of the quilt patterns they showed.

 Simple squares

 Half square triangles

Piecing the border as part of the row constructiion

Applique by machine

Using a border print

Log cabin

A Dresden plate variation

60 degree triangle pattern

Kaleidoscope variations

- even including the stack ‘n whack technique

Kite template with strings form the spiderweb

8 pointed stars made using a giant diamond shape

and even a few curves.

This was only a part of what they brought to share.  It was lots of fun seeing everything and being inspired to make new quilts.
