October General Meeting

October was our silent auction day which is our major fundraiser for the year. The more money we make, the more we get to spend on our programing. This year the members went all out. We had paper pieced wall hangings, handmade wooden items, baked goods and all kinds of other wonderful things.

We also picked the winner of our first ever raffle quilt, the proceeds of which go into the comfort quilts fund. Here's one more look at the quilt and MaryLou, the comfort quilt chair and Anita, program chair picking the winning ticket.

And the winner is . . . . Lisa, who is none other than our treasurer Bonney's daughter. Here's Bonnie on the right furiously adding up all our totals for the silent auction, oblivious to the excitement going on in the front of the room. Congratulations Lisa!!
