March Program -  3 members (Sandra Baker, Linda Dean, and Judy Twitty) presented a trunk show of their crazy pieced work.

At January general meeting GCQ enjoyed fiber artist Susan Sorrell of Little House Art Studios  as guest speaker.  She shared her interesting ideas and techniques for creating fiber art. Many of her pieces are heavily beaded and mounted.


 








 Here are some of her small pins. 


Each of her Who Doo art dolls made from scraps of painted cloth, colorful thread, beads and charms has a unique personality.






January 2018- Show and Tell  
 Clara shared a Dick and Jane comfort quilt.
Susan showed a lovely Christmas table runner.  ( Sorry the photos are not clear.)


Zohra showed a house that started as a tea cozy. 

December was the the guild holiday celebration and a few quilts for show and tell. 

Anita Bowen lead group to make small quilts for children of those deployed.

November - Dorothy Pondy presented a trunk show with many king size quilts of patterns by favorite designers as well as some smaller quilts.  She used a variety of techniques from paper-piecing to applique.
