November General Meeting/Sharon Golden

Sharon Golden shared her pincushion collection with the guild this month. She had quite a collection as you can see, from old to new and from traditional to quirky. She explained what made some of the pin cushions unique and also about the different fillings some were stuffed with. Afterward, Sandra did an after-after where she challenged us to make a handmade pin cushion to trade in the December Christmas exchange.

Jelly Roll Race

After the general meeting in March some of our members got together for an After-After to make jelly roll quilts. Turning it into a race made it a bit more exciting.

In second place was Linda S.

And the winner is . . . . Judy L. who finished in about 45 minutes! Here's Judy holding her finished quilt top with Jean M. helping her on the left.
